Submission Guidelines
Deadline:
Preferred: Submit at least 24 hours prior to the event
Day-of: Accepted only if received at least one hour before the session begins
Submission Requirements:
Length: Up to 5 pages or one chapter (whichever is shorter)
Format:
Font: Times New Roman or Arial
Size: 12-point
Spacing: Double-spaced
File Type: Word document (.doc or .docx)

Include with your submission:
Trigger Warnings: Clearly list any sensitive or potentially distressing content (e.g., violence, abuse, self-harm)
Critique Intensity Preference:
Nice – gentle, encouraging feedback with minimal correction
Moderate – constructive, balanced critique
Intense – direct, detailed editorial feedback
Submission Fee
To participate in the critique session, a small submission fee is required:
Student Rate:
$15 if submitted early (at least 24 hours before the event)
$20 for day-of submissions
General Rate:
$30 if submitted early
$40 for day-of submissions
Note: "General" includes authors, hobbyists, and community members not currently enrolled in school.
